Super Trust, an internet and mobile advertising agency based on professional science and technology services, announced on the 29th that it has launched the beta service of the mobile outdoor advertising platform ‘Moad App’.
The Moad app is a win-win platform that supports advertising efficiency and revenue generation in the transportation industry at the same time by using freight vehicles running on roads across the country.
Through a real-time GPS-based mobile ad exposure management system, profits are directly settled to drivers per mileage (km), and advertisers are provided with low-cost and high-efficiency nationwide advertisements of up to 1 million won or less.
In particular, the Moad app focused on improving the poor profit structure of cargo drivers.
Currently, container cargo drivers earn about 13 million won a month, but they spend about 11.6 million won on gas prices, highway tolls, vehicle maintenance costs, and installments, making only 1.4 million won (about 10 percent) of their net profit.
In addition, most of the transportation is done through intermediary agencies, so drivers are charged 40% of their daily wages as commission, and in fact, they only receive 60%, which further worsens profitability.
In addition, the high burden of truck installments leads to overloading, speeding, and overwork, causing social problems that increase the risk of traffic accidents.
The large-scale strike and logistics chaos that the Cargo Solidarity held in 2022 to demand the expansion of the safe fare system were also caused by such structural problems.
Aware of this problem, Super Trust developed a Moad app that allows cargo drivers to earn additional profits just by driving.
By providing a transparent and immediate revenue structure based on the mileage driven, it aims to increase drivers’ income and reduce the vicious cycle that causes overwork and speeding.
The Moad app can use freight vehicles traveling across the country as a medium to execute advertisements in various industries such as branding campaigns, vehicle supplies, and insurance products, making it an optimized solution for companies that need nationwide promotion regardless of region.
A Super Trust official said, “The Moad app wanted to create a platform where both cargo drivers and advertisers can grow together with the philosophy of ‘advertising can be done wherever there is a road,'” and added, “We will add various functions in the future to become the center of the transportation-based outdoor advertising market.”
Currently, the Moad app is available for free download from the Google Play Store.
